Are you interested in Radio Control Flying?  Have you purchased an RC model and just can't get it to fly without crashing?  Do you like airplanes?    Do you like the company of other model builders and flyers?  Do you like the great outdoors?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, we at the Washington County Model Aviation Association (WCMAA) invite you to join us and become a part of the challenging and exciting hobby of building and flying radio control model aircraft.

Our field (100 feet wide x 700 feet long - suitable for flying the largest of model aircrafts) is never crowded and 99% of the time you can fly without waiting for a clear channel or airspace.  Our members fly glow, electrics, gasoline, trainers, gliders, sports ships, pattern, 3d, and helicopters.

Experienced pilots can enjoy the seclusion and long runway, while pilots new to the hobby can take advantage of the xperiences and expertise of the membership.  We will be happy to answer any questions you may have, help aspiring pilots select their first aircraft and radio system, and we will be there to help with those critical first flights at the field.

We'd like to invite you to the field to meet us, and perhaps even take your first flight on our club's "trainer" airplane.

Our beautiful flying site is located Washington County's picturesque Mingo Creek Park in western Pennsylvania.  As our flying field is in a restricted area of the park, access to it requires an initial contact with one of our members.  For more information, directions to the field,  or to arrange a meeting at the field, please click on  About Us.
