It currently has 43 members and operates out of the Mingo Creek Park Field (see "Maps") for directions and maps to the site. Its members build and fly a wide variety of aircraft in all types, sizes, and power configurations. We also publish a monthly newsletter that is free to all members. We welcome anyone who has an interest in building and flying radio controlled aircraft to become a member of the club. Below are the specifics about becoming a member. 1. Before becoming a member you must first have a membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) a. (765) 287-1256 http://www.modelaircraft.org/ 2. A park permit (currently $10.00 per year) is also necessary for membership, (the club officers will help you with this). 3. Current Annual Membership is $35.00 per year. 4. Adult Members (16 years old or older as of January 1st) will pay a one-time $20.00 initiation fee. Junior Members - 10 to 15 years old as of January 1st and sponsored by an adult member, will pay a one-time $5.00 initiation fee.
