Our Story

WCMAA welcomes anyone who has an interest in building and flying radio controlled aircraft to become a member of the club.

Our Members fly glow, electrics, gasoline, trainers, gliders, sport ships, pattern, 3d and helicopters.

Experienced pilots can enjoy the seclusion and long runway, while pilots new to the hobby can take advantage of the experiences and expertise of the membership.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Location

Our beautiful flying site is located at Washington County's picturesque Mingo Creek Park in western Pennsylvania.

As our flying field is in a restricted area of the park, access requires an initial contact with one of our members.

Club meetings

Directions to the Field

There are two main entrances to Mingo park. Follow the signs to the top of the hill. There is a locked gate which goes up a steep hill to the field.

Club Meetings

Club meetings are held monthy. During flying months, We meet at the field under the pavilion. During the winter months we meet at the Henry House

in Mingo Park.

Meetings are always the second Saturday of the month
